Roping it up at the Amelia Island Quilt Festival in Jan 23' with The Tilted Quilters. Giving rope basket demos to the onlookers was so fun.
"Milky Way" is a patriotic quilt gifted to Lafayette Academy at the opening of the 2021 school year, celebrating their classic education focus.
"Hope" was a quilt gifted to this Ukrainian refugee missing the family she left behind. She doesn't speak English, but no words were needed to feel her gratitude for the love, care, and kindness she has received in her new home in America.
"Octavia" displayed at the QuiltFest 2022 at the Prime Osborn, Jacksonville, Fl. It was so fun being part of such a large and prestigious event.
I love making rope baskets. They are fast, fun, and useful. Oh! and they make great gifts.

I'm living the dream...
This retired educator spends her time in her sewing room playing with beautiful fabrics and creating wonderful treasures for family and friends. I used to spend time making lesson plans and now I plan for beautiful quilts and various other projects. It warms my heart to know that my treasures will go on to love, comfort, and cuddle others.
