Roping it up...
My latest addiction. It ticks all the right boxes for me...fast, fun, creative, gratifying, and useful.
Katherine Lile
of The Mountain Thread Co
In January 23', Katherine came to The Tilted Quilter for a trunk show and gave classes. I attended both and became a roping addict. That day I left with two large rope spools under arms and big plans. I've been roping it up ever since.
Oval Basket
This is my very first rope basket from my class with Katherine. TMTC rope turned me into a rope snob. This rope far surpasses anything I had ever used. It provides the form, structure and sturdiness you want and need in a useful basket. This basket sits on my cutting table and keeps my go to items like the remote, pens, seam ripper right at my fingertips.
more Oval Baskets...
So many looks and so many usages. These baskets are limited only by our imagination. It can be useful on a busy desk or cutting table, a charging station for our cell phone or ear buds along with the contents of your pockets, or a simple landing pad for keys at the entry way. These oval rope baskets make a statement of creativity and organization in your busy life.
Round Tray
Round, flat, and charming. This one has so many uses in so many places all over the house. You name it and this rope tray fits the bill. And let's not forget the boating and camping enthusiasts out there. It is perfect for the water or the road. I like all the baskets, but I'm crusing over this one.
Multi-purpose Basket
These baskets are perfect for the kitchen filled with fruit, vegetables, bread, or anything you can think of. I can see one of these in a baby's room full of diapers at the changing table, or in a bathroom full of hand towels, or in a sewing room full of fat quarters. The sky is the limit.
Creativity Unfolds
There is no limit to what you can do with rope. You can create many different round baskets with varied embellishments, welcome wreaths, and embroidered trivets, the sky is the limit.
